RESEARCH INTEREST

Ticks are well-known for spreading significant human and veterinary diseases, with their ability to stay attached to hosts for long periods being key to their success in transmitting pathogens. My research interest focuses on understanding the molecular and physiological processes behind how ticks, their hosts, and pathogens interact. By combining insights from tick physiology, molecular biology, and immunology, I aim to contribute to developing practical solutions for reducing the impact of vector-borne and zoonotic diseases.
