No charges for Open Access in EMBO journals thru 2024

This just started today and till the end of 2024, researchers in certain countries including the Czech Republic who are corresponding authors, will get the opportunity to publish Open Access articles for free in all EMBO journals.

EMBO Programme Support for APCs – effective 1 November 2022: Until the end of 2024, researchers in Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovenia, and Turkey can publish Open Access in any of the EMBO Press journals at no cost for corresponding authors based in the participating countries, and who are not entitled to be covered by a transformational agreement.
