Research interests
- molecular and cellular factors involved in the mechanism of pathogen transmission by ticks and of the tick immunity
- Lyme borreliosis spirochaetes and tick-borne encephalitis virus with respect to protein-carbohydrate interactions, and their interaction with the inner environment of the tick Ixodes ricinus
